Today I checked the web stats to see how may visits I had this month and to my surprise there were 540 unique hits. My first reaction was how? And the answer was in the stats for some reason GameFix has linked to me because of good old UnSafeDiscX so I’ve returned the favor even if I don’t think they will have many visits coming from here .

From time to time somebody asking me about how to crack one of the newer safedisc versions, today I would like to clear this up once in for all (try at least).

First, I never made the actual tools that detected and removed the safedisc protection, credit for that goes to dec0de12, blackcheck, r!sc, waste_me and CirKutz (hope I haven’t forgotten anybody).

So all I did was pack those tools together make a lame vb6 interface, add a little help file and create a pretty installer (using NSIS).

The reasons I did this was to have everything handy for my self, then I passed it on to some friend’s that need to crack some safedisc games, them after one of my friends threaten to put it on the web if I didn’t I said why not and that why it was released, I updated the ui a couple of times added the safedisc 2.51 removing tool when it came out and stop working on it when boolseye hit the scene with it’s SafeDisc2Cleanner.

Now the reality is that there are no tools to remove safedisc versions 2.6 up.

With that said you can see I’m just “normal” guy, I’m no safedisc guru so please stop asking for new tools, I really can’t help you.

If you really need an exe with out safedisc try visiting MegaGames and find a crack like everyone else.

Some time ago I posted a story “The END of That!!!”, nothing special about that I agree but the thing is CirKutz a guy I call my friend spell checked it for me and I told him I would give him credit for it, and I didn’t, some of you may say (including CirKutz him self) “so what? it’s not no big deal” but it his to me, credit must be given to those who deserve and CirKutz does so here it is and CirKutz…

After a long time of doing what I do best, nothing at all .
Has i sited to write this post I realized that MAD Alien was now more then 2 years old, I was surprised how old it was and the fact that i never celebrated it’s anniversary probably due to the fact i don’t remember the exact date . Still MAD Alien is 2 years old, it has passed the many trials of time resisting and refusing to go away, with it, i learned all I know about making web pages and visual basic programming, i can only hope that MAD Alien stays around until the day i die.
with that out of the way let me give you the latest updates, I’m currently working in a small update of the web site so it will use fusion news so posting news will be faster and more frequent. About MAD Alien applications I decided that not continue their development so users should go to the following addresses for some quality alternatives.

And I must say that USDX doesn’t have a chance against this tool for all those interested you can get it at http://boolseye.cjb.net this is really making me think if further development of USDX is worth wile .

Boolseye webpage no longer exists, word tells he went on to become part of a team of crackers (that also marked the last releas of is tool). But if you whant is tool you can still get it in the download section.

Some changes and delays

I just removed the USDX Translation SDK since i’m having problems and still don’t know if I’ll need to change everything, also real life is taking most of my time now a days so don’t expect the new version to be out any time soon.

PS: Also removed the pop-up i’m sorry but since I use Proxomitron I didn’t notice it was there.

And that’s a promise so going straight to the point a new UnSafeDiscX release is coming bringing a new feature, multi-language support. I’m releasing a Translation SDK so if there is any volunteers out there to translate UnSafeDiscX to there native languages be my guest’s. You can get the translation kit in the download area or here.

PS: The translation Kit is still a alpha so there maybe changes…

UnSafeDiscX Success

As I’ve bean told UnSafeDiscX has add some success with really fills me of pride even that the real credit must go to the creators of the UnSafeDisc tools with MAD Alien has no connection (just trying to avoid any legal problems ).

Also on an unfortunate accident I’ve lost all my e-mail previous to 2002-06-07 so if you emailed me and I didn’t replied then you now now why, also there is a new Links section in MAD Alien so take some time to check it out.

New UnSafeDiscX release (again)

I guess I’m making up for the lost time, well what’s new in version 1.42:

no longer a beta but still full of typos (sorry but my English is terrible);
now with a “real” help file;
minor changes to the GUI;
full Windows XP support (untested).

Well that’s all have fun playing those games .
